Remodeling-Renovation Process
1) Phone Consultation
Introductions: We’ll get to know each other, share our expertise, and review your home's project history.
Needs Assessment: We will explore your goals, desired functionality, design preferences, and priorities for each upcoming project.
Budget Overview: We can provide ballpark cost ranges based on similar projects we’ve completed, keeping in mind that every home, condo, apartment and business-space is unique.
2) In-Person Consultation
Schedule a dedicated on-site walkthrough to review your project scope.
Fees & Location: A 2-hour minimum consultation fee of $250.00 applies within 15 miles of Bothell, WA.
(Credit will be arranged when Contract is Approved)
Site Evaluation: This in-person meeting includes essential spatial measurements and project evaluations.
Project Initiation: We will sign our "pre-construction" service agreement during this phase or during the initial phone consultation.
Proposal Development: This step gathers the necessary details to generate your initial Project Proposal.
Subsequent Meetings: Follow-up meetings will occur remotely or on-site as needed.
Trade Coordination: Future site visits may include vetted, licensed, and certified specialty tradesmen.
Expert Consulting: We consult structural engineers, plumbers, electricians, and HVAC mechanics to refine project scope and costs.
Proposal Contract: The final proposal outlines the scope of work, including clear inclusions and exclusions.
Project Roadmap: This document serves as a binding contract and a roadmap for project phasing and revisions.
3) Pre-Construction Meeting
Review final draft of the proposal and project schedules. Incorporate required edits, then finalize and sign off on the payment schedule.
Coordinate the deposit submission, key handover, and commencement date review. Establish the Change Order protocol for integrating additional work into the initial Scope of Work.
4) Project Construction
We will review project milestones, communication preferences, and daily expectations.
Your home will be kept clean and orderly, with site protection tailored to your needs. We will also provide regular updates on our work phases and operating hours. Since schedules can unexpectedly change, we stay easily accessible via phone and email, and we encourage you to keep us informed of any changes on your end.
5) Project Completion
The final walk-through and punch-list session will allow us to review any issues, discuss adjustments, and make final changes.
Furthermore, we can provide a maintenance schedule and handle any future servicing needs.
